Free Spirits of Mongolia

An opportunity of a lifetime awaits you with this value-sensitive educational tourism learning experience deep in the hinterlands of Mongolia that will take place September 10-24, 2005.

Our itinerary in Mongolia will begin in Buyant-Ukhaa, with traditional welcomes with dance, singing, and throat singing. We will visit Mongol Els Sand Dunes, Bogd soum, Bayankhongor Aimag, Tui River, Lake Orog Nuur, Ikh Bogd Mountains (3957 meters above sea level), Bayanlig Soum, Great Mongolian Gobi Desert, Tsagaan Agui (White Cave), Bayan-Undur district, Shargaljuut Hot Mineral Water Spring, and local schools and governmental officials of several communities we visit.

Throughout the entire journey exploring the Mongolian countryside, we will experience the traditional nomadic life - milk mares and cows, ride horses and camels across the lands, sleep in the traditional Mongolian dwellings known as Gers or tents with nomad families, and explore the cashmere goat, sheep, camel, and yak breeding industries.
